Totti, Italian hope for every fans. Many ppl want to compare him with Del Piero, that is insane. Diff age, diff height, and most important is diff STYLE.
Del Piero is some kind of Withdrawal Forward, Striker. With amazing ball controlling, nice crossing and good control of attack rythm. Architect of the art of Attack.
Totti is a team’s Brain. Playmaker, with a strong and long range shooting power, good tackling skill for front line defence. He is the ideal model of OMF/CMF with good balance of offense and defence.
Don’t know why the tradition need to force the coach to choose one instead of to combine them. In 90′, Villia vs Baggio, in 98′ Baggio vs Del Piero, in 02′ Del Piero vs Totti.
Hope the new coach can combine 2 great players instead of choosing either one.

but in my eyes Totti will alwayz be the better
I still respect Del Piero and admire the way he plays
but Totti is just too good as a leader and to me he understands the game better!
I doubt that the new Italia coach will combine the 2..
say he was to though, it would defaintly create what already seems to be a strong, developing Italia Team!

i believe that del-piero has a greater impact when he comes as a sub even though alex is my fav player totti is a great team leader.he is always unlucky in international competitions but this time it is totti’s worldcup and he is going 2 prove that he is better than ronaldihno
